It is important to note that the information relayed in this video is for informational purposes only and should not be construed as legal advice. In this video, Crystal Joslin, Realtor at Keller Williams, interviews Christina Elhaddad, Real Estate and Civil Litigation Attorney at Hoffman & Forde, as they discuss the current San Diego County ordinance regarding landlord/tenant restrictions.
On August 14, 2021, the San Diego County eviction moratorium is scheduled to be lifted, thereby allowing San Diego County landlords to revert back to commencing tenancy terminations for “just cause” as currently defined under California State eviction moratoriums. Separately, California State had previously extended SB 91, which delineates protections for tenants who have been unable to pay rent due to COVID-related hardships, until September 30th, 2021.
If you are considering selling your home when restrictions are completely lifted, contact Crystal Joslin today at 760-274-7756 or by email at: [email protected].
If you are a homeowner that has tenants in place and want to explore your rights when it comes to evictions, there are ways to prepare now. Reach out to Christina Elhaddad directly at 619-546-7880 or by email at: [email protected].
Sincerely,
Crystal Joslin
